Quantifying Ingredients for a Cup of Juice: A Comparison Chart

We get a lot of questions about juice yield and for good reason.

Before investing in a high-quality slow juicer, you want to make sure that
I will extract the most juice from the ingredients.
To demonstrate how much juice the Kuvings whole slow juicer can squeeze
water, we weighed, squeezed and measured the juice of
13 common ingredients.

Slow juicers crush and squeeze ingredients to extract juice, similar to
the way we chew food. This process often produces more juice
centrifugal juicers and work just as fast. To prove this, we
I also measured the time the juicer took to make 1 cup of juice. Note: the amount of juice
will vary depending on the amount of ingredients you have.

Fresh fruits and vegetables give the highest juice yield and they also provide
best flavor and texture. Likewise, juicing speed will vary depending on
size and quantity of various ingredients.
